12x Scratchy Brushes by Daniel Schmelling

Some brushes that have more of a scratchy dry kind of character. This can be further enhanced by using sharpen filters or layer settings with slight bevel and emboss. I also recommend using the brushes with the clone tool, especially when using it to create details in a painting manner with source set from 200 to 300%.
Have fun trying it out, whether it be for pure painting, painting over photo textures or other 2D rendering techniques.
